The fries were good but they stuck to the pan.

I made these twice in the week following receiving the recipe! The have been a great hit both times. I had issues with them sticking to the pan though -=/. I tried more oil and I tried using foil...still having issues. They taste great though! A great fried alternative!

Yummy! I tossed everything into a big tupperware bowl with the lid on and shook it. Then I put it on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil which I had sprayed with Pam. Turned out great.

These taste great and are so easy to prepare. I added more seasonings like some pepper and onion powder to the mix because I wanted to make sure they had alot of flavor and I also just cubed some potatoes instead of doing fries. I'll definitely be making these again.

I made these but used frozen fries like most everybody else. But I think they would be better if you baked the fries, then drizzled them with the oil and basil and topped with freshly shaved parm., not the canned stuff. I will make them that way next time.

These were fantastic! The only thing I did different is I also added a garlic paste and took others advice by throwing it all in a zip loc bag and shaking until everything was coated evenly. Don't pass this recipe by!

The flavor was great! I didn't have that much basil left so I used parsely to fill the missing amount. Also, I used olive oil and added a little bit of salt. I must have put too much cooking spray on my baking sheet because I had a lot of smoke coming out of my oven and some of the fries were a bit too soggy. I think maybe the olive oil alone might be enough. I will definitely be making these again and trying to reduce the cooking spray (or maybe not use it at all).

The cooking time was way off for my oven & its brand new. I served this with Pigs in a Blanket from this site. I won't be making this again because it would be easier to buy Simply Potatoes brand & sprinkle with basil, garlic powder, & Parmesan.

I'm giving these a 3 for now because it's my first impression. Thinking I'd be slick for clean-up I lined the sheet with foil, however I didn't spray the foil before placing the taters on top. After 10 minutes I realized my mistake and then dumped the fries on the already hot sheet, now covered with spray. However, it took my constant tending to turn them over every few minutes so as not to continue sticking. I think if I added more olive oil to the raw fries, and gave the pan a nice coating first, I wouldn't have had the problem. It did take a bit more time to cook, and I ended up broiling towards the end for 5-10 minutes to make more crispy. Once done I sprinkeld kosher salt and fresh pepper over the top. I'll definitely try again knowing the initial problems I had and review a second time.

My boyfriend loved them but I was a little disappointed that I couldn't taste the fresh parmesan that I used :( The basil sort of overpowered the fries for me.

I used a regular Idaho potato since that's what I had. They were delicious anyway. I think I cut some of my fries too small because they were very well done by the end of the cooking time. Next time I'll either cut them bigger or reduce the heat or cooking time. Hubby couldn't eat enough of them though and we'll definitely make these again.

This was a great recipe -- however, I am going to add some kosher salt to the mix next time, as it needed that extra boost of flavor. A keeper for baked fries, though!
