Split Pea Soup

Reviewed on Jan. 2, 2007 by patj
I used this recipe as a base, but made a few changes along the way. I used chicken broth for the water and used the 2 minute method to soak the peas. I then put all the vegetables in, as well as cubed ham, and used thyme of the recommended spice. It wasn't very thick at first, but thickened as it cooled. Was great the next day, too. Try this soup. It is great!

Chocolate Snowballs

Reviewed on Dec. 21, 2006 by patj
These cookies pack a powerful taste of chocolate. I made two different sizes - the smaller ones are definitely the right size. I will make these again and again.
